Bio
Sean is a second year Master's student in the HRVIP lab working on the CHANGES project which aims to develop a nonpharmaceutical countermeasure to space adaptation sickness. Sean graduated from the University of California Davis in 2019 and spent a year at NASA during the gap year between his undergraduate education and his graduate education program. In the past he has worked on projects involving thermal analysis of lithium ion batteries, machine and system design, as well as autonomous in space assembly. He hopes to work in the space industry and help to improve human space exploration efforts.
Outside of HRVIP, Sean is excited about inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers, especially those who are underrepresented in STEM fields. He is also interested in spaces where science, technology and engineering can be used for social good.
