Dr. Sarah O'Meara

Sarah O'Meara
Bio

Sarah is following her interest in human-machine integration and physiology through Ph.D. research at U.C. Davis. She specializes in myoelectric control with a particular interest in interfaces that use a single muscle site with an emphasis on human learning to leverage neuromuscular plasticity. Previous projects include myoelectric cursor control strategies, training methods, and customized systems. Recent work has focused on myoelectric control of collaborative robots for supernumerary robot applications.

Sarah is a member of both HRVIP and RASCAL research groups.
