Sara graduated from UC Davis and the HRVIP lab in 2016. At UC Davis, Sara worked in the Engineering Student Design Center, where she learned about manufacturing and part design. In her senior year, she joined the HRVIP lab to work on viscous flow control with intelligent vortex generators. Since graduation, she has been working at AeroVironment in Simi Valley, CA. She works with unmanned systems, performing mechanical and composite part design. Most notably, Sara worked on the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter program in collaboration with JPL.
