While working full-time at Northrop Grumman, she earned her M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at UCLA (2020). At HRVIP, she did research on long-duration astronaut training and studied how ground training can be used to bring an inflight astronaut up to an elevated readiness level for critical and complex tasks. In addition, Kimberly interned at NASA Ames Research Center and worked on the thermal design of the EcAMSat CubeSat. In her spare time, she enjoys flying (as a private pilot), running, and playing the piano.
