CSFR/HRVIP Satellite Lab Manager
Before returning to UCD for graduate studies, Adam was an Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) Engineer and Systems Engineer (SE) at the NASA Ames Research Center. During this time, he was part of several CubeSat projects spanning the entire life cycle of space missions: initial concept and feasibility, design and development, integration and testing, and launch and mission operations. Adam's PhD research encompasses the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms for the Inspection CubeSat, defining the system and subsystem requirements for the inspector, and simulating the mission performance. He is the Satellite Lab Manager in the Center for Spaceflight Research, acting as a mentor and resource for the many satellite technology development projects.
